We replaced sideways sliding sashes in a Period property with listed status in Wootton Bedfordshire. The sashes were of traditional construction, in pine with through mortice and tenon joints and with Ogee glazing bars and glazed with putty.
Open rise oak staircase replaced with Iroko, the best timber to use for this type of exterior work is Iroko an extremely dense oily hardwood timber.We successfully replaced this Staircase at a listed property in Dunstable that previously an old pub and carpenters workshop. This Staircase had an oil preservative applied and nonslip tread cappings.
